Only Kerry can do real diplomacy in the middle east now. Bush can't. The people there and around the world dislike Bush so muich that if their leaders cozy up to Bush they're in danger of being voted out of office. Or worse. Today, Cheney changed the reason for invasion to the UN's oil and food program. He is running directly against the UN now. That is only going to make matters worse. Besides, it's very dishonest coming from ther CEO of Halliburton who's stood by while we've been gouged on energy.
