It's based upon facts from an article about Rummy and his cohorts that discussed Rummy's and his cohorts nearly McCarthy-like style.

Clinton might have Sinatra-like style and Bush might have Howdy Doody-like style, but to somehow associate Rumsfeld with Joe McCarthy is purely partisan nonsense. Lincoln wan't popular with Democrats like you either.

So you found some article full of opinions. That doesn't add up to a single fact.
