You mention the 'fan' mentality with things as irrelevant as basball teams-- if that same mentality was felt for 'team USA' Kerry would be jailed. Yes, but the political team concept splits America. So we all put up with some pretty gross people. Politics in the USA have gotten disgusting. Maybe they always have been, but I feel they are worse now and the Dems are leading in sleaze.
