Both the DOW and the NASDAQ-100 indices have lost momentum and are testing support (stretching back many months). The market is very nervous and volatility is exacerbated with fewer participants. I believe ASND is simply testing the lower ranges of a broad triangular pattern, perhaps on the back of some analysts' reports with a negative slant. Perhaps it has to do with the news of Windows NT incorporating software which facilites remote access/intranetworking which may be wrongly perceive to reduce sale of ASND products. The ultimate direction of the breakout can not be determined at this point - it depends on the market's perception of ASND's progress this quarter. Maybe buying a few 45calls would not be a bad trade here.
