If you want to cheer yourself out of that "Sellers Remorse", just get on Realtor.com and check out what you can get in Houston for what you just made in Vegas. Then, find out what you can get in Houston for what you want to pay. I went through a similar thing in '03, selling my S. Cal. mortgage and buying a house outright in Salt Lake City. I haven't been sorry yet.
