So Bush tells the American people that we would be greeted as "liberators" and said proudly more than a year ago "mission accomplished", but that's really not what he expected?

So, if Bush knew about this "plan", he deliberately lied? Of course not - it was a military secret, right?

Had Bush told the American people what to expect 18 months ago, all the things you listed, his credibility would be intact and he would most likely be cruising to re-election, even with the situation in Iraq as it is.

Exactly how would anyone, especially the enemy, find flaws in the plan? Would they not use suicide bombers, car bombs truck bombs or beheadings?

This plan is not a classified "plan". It is nothing more than what soldiers are told to expect, and it's public knowledge. There is even a contingent of Iraqis in America who act out these scenarios during training exercises so our soldiers know how to react. (It was kinda of funny, seeing this being played out in the middle of winter at Fort Drum, with heavy snow on the ground.) If a car is speeding towards you and won't stop, kill it. Sevreral such incidents in Iraq have been widely reported, some involving innocent civilians who failed to stop, others involving suicidal terrorists.

As far as the "attempted WMD attack". If it happened it wouldn't be classified - Bush would be trumpeting it as evidence that he was right - that Iraq did in fact have WMD. What did happen in several instances is that shells intended to carry chemicals or biologicals were fired by the Iraqis - but they were empty. Some of the poorly trained Iraqis had no idea they were firing useless chem/bio munitions. That's hardly an attempted WMD attack.

Sorry, Ann. You really didn't expect me to buy such a poorly constructed story about a "secret plan", did you?
