Ah RUMORS! I got one too. Now let's see if either of them have any merit in the non-tin-foil-hat world.....
DNC Source: Rumor that Radicals Have Penetrated Town Hall Debate
Krush Kerry blog
In a not-too-surprising development, Democrats and their allies in the more radical elements of political activism believe they have penetrated the town hall forum and will be represented in the audience of so-called “swing voters” at tonight’s debate.
According to the Gallop organization, who was responsible for selecting the voters in tonight’s debate audience, the participants may have opinions about the candidates. They may be leaning to one candidate or the other. But they must also have told a Gallup representative that they might still vote for the other guy. The participants were chosen at random through phone interviews conducted by Gallop.
But what about people who lie? According to one source inside the Democrat National Committee, rumors are circulating around Washington, DC that certain liberal groups prepared all of their St. Louis members to exaggerate and even lie in their phone interviews, if they happened to have been contacted by Gallup, in order to get into the town hall as an audience member. These same organizations are privately signaling to the Democrat National Committee that they succeeded in getting some of their members into the forum disguised as “swing voters.” It’s important to note our source did not know which liberal interest groups orchestrated the effort to infiltrate the town hall format, but believes their were several groups working together.
“I don’t know. All I can tell you is that the rumor around here [DNC HQ] is all about how we successfully got some people in the audience,” our source said.
But the questions are pre-scripted by the moderator and audience members will not know who gets to ask them until the last minute.
“My understanding is that they have been instructed to ask their own questions, regardless of what the moderator tells them to ask,” our source, who demanded to remain nameless, stated.
Not every “swing voter” will be allowed to ask a question. What if none of the spies are invited to speak up?
“I don’t know. You may see a demonstration of some kind. You may hear boos or jeers or spontaneous enthusiasm for Senator Kerry. I have no idea what these people [the radicals] have up their sleeve. But they will be on TV tonight.”
It is our understanding that Charlie Gibson, the moderator for tonight's debate is not supposed to allow any questions that deviate from the "script", and if they do, he is supposed to mention that and move on. However, forgive us if we don't think this is fail-safe.
Again, please note that our source doesn't know for sure this is going to happen, but this is the rumor floating around DNC HQ We actually hope it's true, so that the country can see the real face of the Democratic party, and John Kerry's soul mates.
Members of radical groups have had success fooling the Old Media in recent weeks, pawning themselves off as interested but undecided voters. National Public Radio recently presented a donor to John Kerry’s campaign for president as a “swing voter.” And in past the Washington Post has strained the definition of “swing voters” by using unemployed African-Americans, teachers union members, and young, single urban woman in focus groups. These characters comprise a veritable Kerry coalition right out of Central Casting.
This liberal coup comes on the heels of a week of terror by radicals who have bullied, intimidated, violated and even shot at Republicans across the country in an obviously orchestrated effort.
And now they have a voice among the, ahem, undecided in tonight’s town hall debate, which is looking more and more like a show trial, with President George W. Bush on the stand.
“This should be fun,” our source giggled triumphantly. |
