MIT has determined that all six billion people descended from a single ancestor who lived just 3500 years ago, according to the London Telegraph:

ignorant scientists. just a half century ago einstein said the earth was a billion years old. he is supposed to be the smartest of all. now scientists have upped it to 4.5 billion. now you have some jokers who think they can pinpoint it to 3,500 years ago.
why is it people waste their time putting their faith in men? were any of these ignorant fools around 3,500 years ago? why not just put your faith in God? if you want to know how long it has been since the first man, adam, simply find out from someone who was there at the beginning. God was there when they made man in their image.
if you want to know how long it has been since adam was formed, simply turn away from the news headlines and turn toward your bible.
all you have to do is turn to genesis chapters five and eleven and add up the ages from adam to abraham. it was 2,000 years from adam to abraham. it was 2,000 more years from abraham to Christ. it's been 2,000 years since Christ. therefore any ignoramus with some fancy college degree who tells you that
adam lived 3,500 years ago does not have the spirit of God in him.
