and they predicted four times as many jobs as they created.
You are really deluded. Also the jobs created are worse jobs than the ones lost. That is definitely true. and more jobs were lost. Net loss of 1.6 million private sctor jobs and 820,000 when you include the government hiring which is mostly war-oriented.
