The winner of this debate was Bush. Bush was Presidential. He took control of the debate, rising to the occassion as needed. Rather than letting Kerry control the debate as Kerry did in the first debate.

Kerry lost the debate on several fronts. His plan for the government giving us socialized medicine via medicare---was thinly disguised as helping the middle class.

Americans don't want this----we don't need more government "plans"----we've had the HMO's and the insurance
companies are now backing off from these giving clients more choice.

While he says he has plans for addressing the Iraq war and the mid-East countries------he never really lays them out----just more campaign rhetoric.

Also, Kerry lost on the Saddam question vs. Bin Ladin tonight----he is "beating a dead horse" and is no longer convincing. Americans and the world know that Saddam had to go and the reasoning used at the time was appropriate----even Kerry agreed that he thought so at that time.

Amazingly, Kerry was expected to come out strong on stem cell research and on abortion-----he blew it on these issues. Perhaps some of these disenchanted voters will vote for the third party candidates as a result.

Bush won on these issues--- showing knowledge and compassion while moving forward with research.

Promise me this, promise me that ------promises, promises----I have a plan-----I promise not to raise your taxes(look into the camera)---famous last words--that get reversed later after election!!

In contrast, Bush looked rested and full of energy. Unlike Kerry who has only one job now----George W. Bush is a man who is handling two jobs very well ----being President and campaigning.

On the other hand----Keryy did not look welltonight he is showing signs of campaign fatigue.

Looking forward to the next debate
