Zarkmud,

I realize the pain and frustrations that long term Novell holders
must be experiencing. I too think Schmidt can turn it around but
hope it would be with the help of IBM or someone with deep pocket
to do combat with MS.

If Schmidt lays off another 10% of the workforce, he'll be contributing $50 millions to the bottom line this quarter instead of
$25 millions. IBM downsized till they got their cost structure right.
