Why don't you include the first three years in your count?
96,000 jobs is anemic and dont use the hurricane as an excuse. Just to keep up with population growth you need 150,000 new jobs a month. Clinton created 23 million. 96,000 is a net loss of jobs despite record deficit spending.

In the private sector where Republicans claim tax cuts are supposed to work, Bush has lost 1.6 million jobs. This includes 2.7 million good-paying manufacturing jobs. Further, youth unemployment is very high and minority youth employment even higher. Many people have just give up looking for work, making the 5.5% unemployment figure extremely misleading. Try tripling it.
