el-

have you noticed how both candidates like to use
the word 'kill'. they say it differently tho.

bush says it in a kinda folksy friendly way.
"we're gonna kill 'em" and then grins at you.

kerry on the other hand, makes sure there's no
mistaking him. looks you straight in the eye
and says "we are going to KILL THEM".

they're referring to terrorists of course. but,
that term is being bandied about far too often
and far too easily for my comfort. it is too
all enveloping.

two peas in a pod, these two. different m.o.
but same goal.

you said:

there was evidence in links posted here a couple
of years ago having to do with the PNAC documents
and some energy forecasts and sudies by the James Baker
Institute, among other things that revealed a
clear goal of these oil and gas boys was to get
the sanctions on IRAQ lifted ASAP.

the perfect way to get them lifted (and the fastest)
was to invade and depose saddam and then make the
plea to the UN to have them lifted.

so, kerry knows this. why doesn't he just come
out and accuse bush of invading iraq in order
to create and maintain military bases and secure
control of the flow of oil in the middle east?
let's stop beating a dead horse here with all this
dialogue on weapons of mass destruction and ridding
the world of saddam and making it a safer place.

the world knows that's just a bunch of malarkey.

kerry is perfectly happy to be in iraq now that he's
there. he's not going to abandon the u.s. military
presence in iraq; the bases will never shut down.
the public will grow weary of seeing pictures of
blown up iraqis and will stop watching, so the networks
will stop showing and the print media will find
something else to entertain their audience with.

or not.

perphaps the iraqi people will never concede.
