I disagree. I think Kerry succeeded in not saying anything that had the potential to voters off by merely saying "I have a plan, look at my website."

Dick Morris accurately predicted this - Kerry has gotten as far as he has by having it both ways on painful issues, and when he is finally pinned down, he will win some and lose some.

So, by not taking any real stands, he manages to keep having it both ways.

Bush, on the other hand, has to stand on his actual record, so he's already turned off the ones who oppose his positions.

Morris, by the way, thought that Kerry would actually be forced into taking positions. So far, no.
