We need at least a 53 - 47 election! Whichever way it goes we need a clear mandate for direction. If the Repubs win the Daschle black hole senators have to get out of the way. Similary, if kerry wins - we need decisions on a 51 - 49 vote - not a 60 - 40. We need a plan and a direction. Daschle has insured that despite the plan - there is no direction. Short of Bush winning - Daschle and Kucinch loosing are my great hopes! Both are individuals who have left their home support in favor of the democratic left - a left that is foreign to their home base. Is there any more despicable politicians than Daschle and Kucinch!
