The guy that fed Bush the bad info was Douglas Feith, in the Office of Special Plans that Rumsfeld and Cheney set up. Feith's job was to sift through ALL the intel on Iraq and extract the best for making the case for going to war, ignoring contrary evidence and caveats. Dick Cheney made nine trips to the CIA to pull this out of them and feed it to the OSP. This is what was presented to Kerry and the rest of the Senate and House. This is the second half of the 9/11 Report that was put off until AFTER the election.
Bush wanted to invade Iraq, ginned up a case, played cheerleader and warmonger, called all naysayers traitors and browbeat the country into war, cleverly mingling 9/11 and Saddam Hussein. When Kerry is elected, it will all be revealed. This is why Bush is in such a panic. It's also why Bush is a worthless punk.
