When was the last time there was a mass poisoning by any brand name prescription drug anywhere from bad ingredients?

Do you want to wait until it happens and kills 10,000 people before doing anything about it?

What if al-Qaeda decides to manufacture some fake Viagra and poison it, then ship it to the U.S. through what appear to be legitimate channels?

You wouldn't be the only one affected.
