I have a term for this kind of nonsense, "synthetic economics", which is the now bizzare notion prevalent among old commodity traders (conditioned by years of commodity bear markets) about, "mystery hordes", and supply suddenly appearing like mushrooms in the woods. Remember the BS this summer about the Saudi mystery ships full of oil about to flood the shores of America with oil. It just amazes me this kind of synthetic economics mentality has any credibility anymore. I guess Dave still has an audience for it, but not me. It's also much like Bernake's Fed credibility speech the other day,
