I was a pacifist too before 9/11. But get this point please.....the absence of war is not necessarily peace! Was it peaceful in Iraq when Saddam was murdering 30,000 a year, and had the entire country in fear? There was no war, but there was no peace either. Some on the left would have us believe this was Xanadu. And was it peaceful when he attained office in an unlawful fashion? Some would have us believe so. Again, peace is not merely the absence or cessation of war....it is something which everyone must strive towards....and right now one side is only intent on killing as many as possible(and that side is not us in case you needed a hint)
