JDN. Surprise, surprise. As a result of this post to Captain Jack a few post ago I did a bit of quick resaerch on the organization called " ACORN " Association Communication Organization for Reform Now.

And at their site was the following.....

ACORN, the Association of Community Organizations for Reform Now, is the nation's largest community organization of low and moderate-income families, with over 150,000 member families organized into 750 neighborhood chapters in more than 60 cities across the country.

ACORN Members in 48 Cities Rally for Education

Picture here.

Houston ACORN members were joined on October 2 by their Congressional Representatives Sheila Jackson-Lee and Al Green and State Representative Garnet Coleman, and other allies in their call for community members to "Vote for Schools, Vote for Change."
