Recession began March 2001. Dont lie. The Bushies made up the "Clinton recession" as an excuse for Bush's piss poor performance on jobs.

I remember back in February 2001, Cheney coming out and predicting we were about to go into a recession. The market didn't like that talk and went down that day.

And don't forget the huge impact Enron and Bush-Cheney Texas company buddies' energy gouging had on the economy. Why blame internet stocks when Bushies gamed the system from June 2000-May 2001 and gouged 50-100 billion out of the economy, including about 30 billion stolen from California which is the engine of the US economy.
