you would if you knew the consequences of long term benzo use. Often the solution creates more problems than the original problem. Irresponsible docs give benzos out like candy. Your problem is not typical. More often than not benzos are prescribed for sleeplessness, anxiety, and personal tragedies and for frieving. Docotrs oftenr fail to INSIST that the drugs not be given for more than 2 weeks. ALL drug monographs warn against using benzos for more than 2 weeks except in extreme cases.

BTW you can't compare narcotics to antibiotics which are given in 2 week increments which often cures the patient. What do benzos CURE?
