Elect, I don't know that there are not many gods, and forces, and neither do you. I used the name Jesus for the power that made such a difference in my life, because I could think of no other name that people, like you, would understand. With a mind as narrow as yours, one must be specific, and not go too deep into philosophy to prevent you from becoming more addled, and confused, than you already are.
Your problem is, that you have only one source of information that has formulated all of your thoughts, and that is a book that was written by human beings, who relied on oral folklore, and legends.
If you want to believe every word of the bible, be my guest. Every one has the right to believe whatever they choose, as long as it harms no one, or society as a whole.
How can I be lost when I know exactly where I am, and where I stand? You delude yourself when you think that you have all the answers, based no on your own exploration, but because there is a book thay you can, not only, base your opinions on, but can also twist it around, and nit pick certain partial passages, to fit your own warped centralized thinking.
