There you go again (lying, that is). Nancy Reagan STRONGLY supports Bush's re-election.

Nancy Reagan Supports Bush Re-Election
Won't Make Appearance At GOP Convention, However

While Nancy Reagan disagrees with President Bush's stance on limiting stem-cell research, the former first lady Nancy Reagan strongly endorses Bush's re-election bid.

"She's in full and complete support of President Bush's candidacy," Reagan spokeswoman Joanne Drake said Tuesday. "The campaign is certainly about more than one issue."

Mrs. Reagan, whose public appearances have been limited since the death of her husband two months ago, won't be attending the Republican National Convention in New York this month, Drake said. But the former first lady hasn't ruled out campaigning for Bush.

"She's taking it one day at a time right now. We'll see," Drake said. "She will certainly want to help but there are no plans right now."

Former President Ronald Reagan died June 5 of pneumonia related to his decade-long battle with Alzheimer's disease.

Reagan son Ronald Prescott Reagan told delegates at last week's Democratic National Convention in Boston that he was unhappy with Bush administration opposition to embryonic stem cell research. He also gave implicit endorsement to the John Kerry/John Edwards ticket.

"Whatever else you do come Nov. 2, I urge you, please, cast a vote for embryonic stem cell research," the younger Reagan told delegates.

Mrs. Reagan, however, said Bush is the right man for the job. She joins Reagan's eldest son, conservative talk show host Michael Reagan, in supporting the re-election of the president. Michael Reagan will be speaking to delegates during the GOP convention.
