DO YOU REALLY BELIEVE THAT YOU ARE MR SPOCK, THAT YOU ARE RIGHT AND I AM WRONG, AND THAT'S THE "STRAIGHT LINE" CALCULATION? I believe that I'm capable of reason, of taking the available facts whether they fit my expectations or not and seeing them for what they are. Given the death and destruction in Iraq, I would only be too happy to learn that it truly was all worthwhile, for then it would have purpose. Sadly, the facts show otherwise. I don't have to believe a single person's word; there are huge amounts of data - not opinion - coming to the forefront here, including data from the governement itself. When the CIA tells me that Saddam was toothless but Bush tells me he was not, I am going to go with the CIA's version since it was based on fact, Bush's version based on conjecture, fanciful thinking and because he has no alternative but to perpetuate the lie he started. Them's the facts.
