Show me that one about the cicadas. I'd love to see it. We were in Ohio when the cicadas came out this year. It was quite an experience. My brother-in-law had a plague at his house and hates cicadas. I'm not up on the difference between right and left brain thinking, but I'm pretty sure I use both sides too. My mother sang professionally, but failed to impart any musical talent to her four children. We love music, though. My sister is a mathematician/computer engineer. She uses both sides of her brain too, and is working on a novel. You can't tell the age of a tree without seeing the growth rings, but you don't have to cut it down to get them. We have an instrument called an increment borer, which drills in and cuts out a tiny core that you can see the rings on. It uses the very finest Finnish or Swedish steel, and most of them are made there I think.
