Nimrod,

Halliburton was originally awarded a no-bid contract because they have expertise in extinguishing oil well fires. Well remarkably there have been few and far between of them and such services have not been used. For Halliburton, that original contract has morphed into something much bigger at a much bigger cost to the tax-payer (and I don't mean the tax-evading rich). It has reaped so-far over $6 Billion in contracts since the start of the war. It has profitted by overcharged for unaccountible man-hours and price-gouging for fuel supply to impoverished Iraqis.

Crony-in-Chief Cheney is still on the Hal payroll through deferred salary and has $400K in stock options through them. He's still in a STRONG conflict of interest position. Cheney has interfered in awarding contracts and he directly benefits in income and capital gains.

Crony-in-Chief Cheney IS a crook, as his Bush, as is Rumsfeld and all the other Cronies. They should be all in Super Max Prisons.
