I disagree with instances where the Adminsitration has broken with free trade principles, and imposed tariffs and quotas.

I disagreed with the provision of the Medicare drug benefit, as being too expensive currently.

I would have prefered a stronger US presence in Afghanistan, and less dependence on warlords to administer the country.

I thought we made a mistake to defer to the Iraqis about Fallujah, and to let it fester.

These are a few things, anyway. You must remember, I voted for this ticket on the basis of ideological compatibility, so much of what the Administration has done I wanted it to do in the first place, like torpedo Kyoto or work on missile defense.

I do not simply repeat their points of view. I explain or offer supplementary arguments about their positions. Or discuss things that have nothing especially to do with their point of view. I translate French articles and opinion pieces to get another perspective, or to bring up matters that are more important in Europe, like the EU, but which affect us. I discuss general philosophical matters pertaining to assumptions underlying discussions on this board. I do a lot of things besides cut and paste talking points.
