"Best method to fight terrorists bent on destroying Israel is to help foster democracy in the ME." Why should US soldiers die protecting Israel? And why should I pay for it? It would be a shame if they destroyed Israel, but that nation needs to be capable of defending itself (and it is). Our soldiers didn't sign up to protect Israel, let Israelis die protecting it.
