It's funny, we've got people on the thread talking about abortion, and other people talking about fertility treatment, but nobody talking about the obvious solution, which is adoption.

My dad and his third wife adopted a child when he was in his 60's and she was in her 40's, and now that his wife is dead, he is raising the boy alone. It feels weird, at the age of 52, to have a nine year old brother, and it seems weird for a 72 year old man to have a nine year old child, but they are very close, and he is a great comfort to my dad.
