They gave their reasons! Many people do not agree with their reasons. All that is very understandable. But their reasons are their reasons. It is one thing to read their "fatwas" at face value and it is another to read about the Moslem vs. Christian conflict harkening from Abraham to the Crusades, to the domination of Eastern Europe by Moslems during the time of the Ottoman Empire, and to ongoing exploitation of Middle East oil and of Moslem territories by westerners, and occupation and resulting "defiling" of their sacred lands. If you have a grounding in the history of Moslem vs. Christian conflict, you might see more and then some........ If you don't, then you are functioning like a parrot or even as a "useful idiot".
