candidates now bantering about the same phrase about each other, "He can run
but he can't hide," has Bush handler Karl Rove forgotten where the President
first uttered that phrase? Here's a reminder: it was September 15, 2001, just
after the 9/11 terrorist attack, and he was referring to Osama bin Laden. Do the
Republican operatives really want such a blatant reminder that Osama is still
running and still hiding? Did the Kerry camp miss their cue? So much for the
modern "sound bite" campaign era. They really can come back to bite.
