There was a good chance that Iraq under Uday Hussain would have moderated, much like Syria moderated under Bashar Assad. Even KIM Chong-il of North Korea is more interested in negotiations than was his father. Saddam could have been kept in a box until power change came naturally. The invasion only made matters worse.
