This is more a question for unclewest but......

We had a Vietnam Vet and his wife over for dinner Saturday night. We talked about the VN war and the military. He said that for the first in 30 years he has been able to openly discuss that war and what it meant to him. (he was a sniper, and saw lots of action "in the north.")

When we were discussing the draft, he told us that once a person signs up for military duty for the United States government, he/she could be called up for duty for as long as they live should the need arise.

Could anyone link me to the military contract that enlistees sign, or is it not available?
