"The Duelfer report said Saddam intended to restart his WMD programs as soon as sanctions were lifted and he was well on the way to getting them lifted via his campaign of bribing world leaders using the corrupt UN-run oil-for-food program.
When sanctions were gone and new WMD's were built, what would we have done the next time he moved against a neighboring country?"

I guess that their point is that it would take a couple of years for that to happen and that we we could deal with it then. Oh, but they decry the inaction in NKorea and Iran but of course they also decry any unilateral action or preemption against NK or Iran. They want to have bilateral talks with NK but are not happy with euro led iran negotiations. Kerry isnt a flip flopper for no reason--they all are. Bottom line is that whatever bush is for the anti bush folks will take the opposite. And they yell at bush for being a dumbell.
No wonder i am confused. mike
