Right, but he was just shooting his mouth off, he had no evidence. Tenet just thought it was a "slam dunk." The President was listening to someone with an agenda, proof be damned.

Or after the draft there is an invasion of Syria. As well, Libya "fell," so to speak not because of anything that was happening in Iraq, rather because of what happened in Pakistan. When it became known that Pakistan's nuclear bomb founder, Khan, had sold his nuclear secrets to Libya (and who knows who Lybia sold it to from there) did Libya acquiese to inspections and the dismantling of its WMDs program. Events in Pakistan, not Iraq, led to Libya coming forward.
