The Repulicans made a mistake by not pursuing the many voter fraud incidents that surfaced in the last election. It was so overt some students bragged about it. Bums were hustled into boths for cigarettes. In Florida voting receipts were stolen. Thousand were found, with a machine in the van of a Dem operative.

For the sake of healing these things were set aside, which only encouraged more. Just like Kerry's actions on his return from Vietnam were given a pass. The country needed to heal. Now Kerry opened old wounds.
