If you're looking at the results of the recent election in Venezuela as an indication of majority support for Chavez, hold your horses. He put numerous restrictions on voting, making it difficult to qualify to vote, including unreasonable restrictions on all ex-pats, making it virtually impossible for most of them to vote at all.--but yeah, our record in Latin America is not exactly stellar, either.
