Dave, I'd addressed it, but apparently incorrectly. I'm not using isowner() for that but created a new function for just checking to see if the person reading the subject is the person who created it. However, I was still using a join that resulted in an empty recordset if the subject wasn't moderated. Duh, Bob!

Cut/Paste can be a bad thing if you don't pay enough attention to what needs to be deleted from the copy.
