HFS to form mutual fund company Reuters Story - August 27, 1997 15:26 PARSIPPANY, N.J., Aug 27 (Reuter) - HFS Inc said it has joined with mutual fund manager Fred Kobrick to form a new mutual fund company named Kobrick-Cendant Inc. The new joint venture will be led by Kobrick, who will be president and chief executive of Kobrick-Cendant. Kobrick is formerly an equity portfolio manager and senior vice president at State Street Research, and most recently managed funds totaling nearly $4 billion in assets. Michael Caremn, also formerly with State Street Research, will be an executive vice president and treasurer at Kobrick- Cendant. ----------- Now I've seen everything.
