Thoughts on the final debate:

I thought it was a tie. Both Bush and Kerry repeated talking points, both attacked the other candidate on "facts" that I frankly don't trust, and both shot themselves in the foot a few times.

- Kerry faltered, IMO, on the issues of health care, social security, and the question of how he can afford all of his promises.

- Bush faltered, IMO, on the question of affirmative action, minimum wage, and bipartisanship.

- Both idiots flubbed the last question about their wives. Bush joked that his wife speaks better English than he does, thereby furthering the stereotype that he's a dumbass. But then Kerry snatched defeat from the jaws of victory when he joked that he married up, thereby furthering the stereotype that he's a male golddigger.

Oh well, very interesting nonetheless. I was wrong in predicting that Kerry's buttons can be pushed. In reality, the first debate alone pretty much saved Kerry's entire campaign, and the other two debates ensured that this race will once again go right down to the wire.
