You're losin' me, bud. Dichotomy, yes. He SAYS he's in favor of the second amendment, but he gives thumbs up to Kennedy, Feinstein, and Shumer when they passed anti-gun legislation.

I don't think he believes in the 2nd. He just SAYS he does.

I doubt Kerry thinks the 2nd refers to the right applies only to states to form militias. It's clearly an individual right. He's just against the freedoms that it brings.
