Regarding bush-- Would you buy a used car from this man?
With that drool coming out from his mouth and that turkey head bobbing and blinking?
Would you trust Bush to be your physician? Never change his diagnosis even if you weren't getting better? Not inquisitive, doesn't like to read. I hope my physician is nerdy and reads medical journals, doesn't rely on colleagues to sum it up.
The minimum wage question--Bush didn't even attempt to answer and worse came up with the same spiel on education that he'd just said about 10 minutes earlier--made him look like an idiot.
Kerry rocked on the assault weapon question--scored big points on al queada being able to buy assault weapons. Missed some stuff too, like every time the government came out with those stupid color coded alerts (Color orange) it's my understanding that that the cities had to suck it up and pay for the costs of implementing out of their pockets and weren't reimbursed by the federal government. Kerry should have also pointed out this admistration's attempt to take away overtime pay and call it "family flexibiity". Overtime pay is one of the ways that people can still make a decent living.
Shrubs take on abortion makes me livid. I remember the days when abortion was illegal and it wasn't pretty. Shrub immediately talks about partial birth abortion--that is only to inflame people--those procedures are RARELY ever done, just mentioned to incite the masses.
Shrub had carefully memorized some talking points and because he could remember them some people think he did good? This guy is an absolute embarassment. I've always told my kids everything worth having is a lot of hard work to get--SHrub hasn't worked for anything and is so incredibly intellectually lazy, stubborn, bull-headed and neanderthal in his thinking to think he is our president is such a tragedy. Greater tragedy that people go along with his shoot-from-the-hip governing. I thought this was supposed to be democracy. Americans seem to approach this election like it was shoot-out at the OK corral. Hope we can restore some dignity to the white house with Kerry.
