hmm, they are making a big deal on MSNBC about Kerry's answer that brought up one actual living gay person and most are mad and want to make it a deal... sooo... it's okay to talk about the "other" up there and how we can "profess" tolerance but then tell them to keep in their place. But it must be faceless. No real gay person allowed to be mentioned. Afterall, it's still an ugly thing to say about someone? The point is Kerry accepted gays into America as real people, and Bush gave his usual dismissal and made clear to his base and whoever else that he wants to amend the Constitution to make sure no uppity judges or states allow certain rights. Somehow, they are missing the point of the question and the offense it gave to millions of Americans that Bush snubbed.
