Howdy Peach,

Forget the software ignore, I've found something much more utilitarian -- lil' voodoo dolls. I can usually mentally ignore stupid msgs from stupid posters, but when it gets to be too much, I have a set of little figurines, like Emile Vidrine, American Spirit, Pat Trinchero, etc... sitting around the computer. When they make stupid posts, I stick in a new object.

This helps immensely because since then, compulsion has driven me to find 3 sets of previously lost steak knives, 26 forgotten barbecue skewers and countless pins and needles. I used to always lose those things, laying 'here' and 'about' or in some ubiquitious "stuff" drawer" , but now that they're easy to find and always in handy reach sticking out of some bozo's innards, I can serve dinner for 18 without a blink and have plenty of leftover shish kabobs grilled for tomorrow's brunch, whist darning socks and sewing buttons for the whole family.

So much more useful than software.
