No country in the world recognizes Taiwan as an independent nation state. Taiwan has never declared itself to be an indpendent nation state. And you say the only reason it has never declared itself to be an independent nation state is because it does not need to do so in order to be an indpendent nation state-- this is delusional. Taiwan is part of China and not an independent nation state. If it decided to try to become and independent nation state by creaking away from China -- the nationa state that it is universally recognized as being part of -- then Beijing would act to prevent this cahnge of status. Your convoluted explanations nothwithstanding, Taiwan is part of China and almost certainly always will be.
