The Australian John Howard government was re-elected not because the people fear the terrorists but because that once redneck Howard has had a sorta' change of heart about 12 years ago and has been allowing Asians to immigrate into Australia ever since. Apparently Howard came to the inescapable conclusion that Australia has a lot to gain from the rest of Asia! The resilient, resourceful and hardworking Asian population has largely helped the Australian economy to boom over the years and this has in turn helped the Howard government to be returned to power FOUR times, if my memory serves me well. To be sure, the Asian immigrants have been faithfully voting for the Howard government at every election because they want not only to ensure their relatives and friends will be able to join them but to gain approval for their business enterprises. China which has numerous large vested interests in Australia might have influenced surreptitiously the continued re-election of John Howard just to make assurance doubly sure!!!
