Robert,

I am not surprised that short sellers went up in the last a couple of
weeks, primarily due to the make-up by institutions who did short
the stock before $19+. There is an obvious example as follows:

Bid:22 5/16, Ask: 22 3/8, Deal at: 22 1/4

This scenario didn't happen often and cannot be done by individual
speculators. The intention was to pull down forcefully without
playing any rules.

The following three events will make Apple and Microsoft even get
closer:

(1) Microsoft rolls out Office 98 for Macs, at:

infoworld.com

(2) Competitors boost alliance against Microsoft, at:

globe.com

(3) Sun's McNealycriticizes Apple's Java moves, at:

webintosh.com

It seems that "Conspircy Theory" is getting closer to reality.

IMHO
