From October, 1 till October, 10, 2004 in Johannesburg, the republic of South Africa, have passed the Third international competitions of operation personnel of block thermal power stations "Cyberthon-2004". The command(team) of THERMAL POWER STATION - 26 of Open Society " Mosenergo " has taken part in competitions.
Competitions are carried out(spent) since 2002 under the initiative of Russian Open Society " UES of Russia " and companies " ESKOM " (republic of South Africa) - by one of the world's largest ???????????????? the companies. This year from five commands(teams) two represented Russia: a command(team) of THERMAL POWER STATION - 26 of Open Society " Mosenergo " (the winner of the previous international competitions) and command(team) ??????????????? thermal power station of Open Society " ???????????? " (the winner of the All-Russia competitions).
Competitions of operation personnel were carried out(spent) on computer simulators of firm " Simulators for power stations " and have consisted of three stages: end of work of the power block, conducting the dispatching schedule, start-up of the power unit from various conditions. The estimation was given on two last stages, the first stage was preparatory.
As the Russian judges have noted, all participants of competitions have shown a high professional standard and skill effectively to work in case of occurrence of emergencies.
Results of competitions were defined(determined) by the computer program. In a result the first place with the big separation in 400 glasses was borrowed(occupied) with a command(team) of THERMAL POWER STATION - 26 of Open Society " Mosenergo " and a challenge cup of competitions again has returned to Russia. The command(team) of Open Society " ???????????? " became the bronze prize-winner of competitions, and the second, fourth and fifth places have borrowed(occupied) commands(teams) of company " ESKOM ".
