<not a question as to if our civilization will be able to weather these aberrations, anamolies, or whatever you want to call it, (I am sure we will)> The Romans thought the same... as did many other cultures. The strength of the military grows as the ability of the public to weather what needs done wanes. Kerry would be a huge drain on both.
